Sorry that I've been a bit MIA lately....life in the catering biz is hectic and it's been very hard keeping up with my blog. I worked on several great dishes this past week and will post this coming week....don't give up on me...I will be back as I'm trying to organize my photos and recipes to make it easier for me to do my posts! I am a modern ethnic chef as I call it. I have been cooking since I was a toddler....food was very important in our family since it reminded us of where we came from before living in the states. When I was 29 years old...I decided I had waited long enough...had enough experience...studied at a culinary school in Europe....and had some equity in my home that I could open up my place.
Avesta Eclectic Cuisine was opened in October 2004. We had a successful four years and some life changing decisions moved me to the next chapter of my life. Since the closing...I have been catering and started a food line for coffee shops and wine shops. I'm now located in Columbus, Ohio where I continue working on Avesta Cuisine, specifically a sauce company that I hope will fully roll out in 2013.
I am known to be the fun girl...always up for fun and can dance the night away with a martini in hand.....get to know me.....I want to share my love for food and life with you.
